This is an experimentation image that I created in order to test different styles and themes for the creation of a digipak image/cover. I was meant to use a tutorial to achieve this effect however I already have a knowledge of Photoshop and the tools that are available for the user to use so I felt confident enough to deviate from the tutorial and use my own ideas and experimentation. I used various efects whilst creating my image but the one that I used was masking. This allowed me to remove the background of my photo without permanently deleting so I could adjust it if I made mistakes. I also used various layer effects such as the overlay and soft light feature which allowed me cover any background items and text with my grungy effect.
